Information You Create
DreamLoft allows you to create personal dream journal entries.
Depending on how you use the app, you may create: dream descriptions, personal reflections , and notes mood selections, dream tags or symbols, spiritual reflections, voice-dictated entries. This information belongs to you.
Voice Dictation and Speech Features
DreamLoft allows users to dictate dream entries using speech recognition features available on their device.
If you choose to use voice input, your device may use built-in speech recognition services provided by your operating system to convert speech into text.DreamLoft may also use text-to-speech features to read insights or reflections aloud. These features rely on services provided by your device or operating system. DreamLoft does not store voice recordings. Speech recognition is handled by the device’s operating system.
AI-Generated Reflections
DreamLoft may provide AI-generated reflections to help users explore possible meanings or emotional patterns within their dreams. When AI reflections are requested, dream text may be securely transmitted to backend services that process the request and return insights. This processing occurs only to generate the reflections requested by the user within the app. DreamLoft does not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.
Optional Private AI Mode
DreamLoft may offer a private AI mode that processes dreams directly on the user’s device without cloud services. This mode may provide simpler reflections compared to cloud-based AI. Optional Private AI Mode
DreamLoft allows users to control how AI features are used within the app’s settings. Users may choose between cloud-based AI reflections or an optional private AI mode that processes dreams directly on the user’s device. Private AI mode avoids transmitting dream text to cloud services but may provide simpler reflections compared to cloud-based AI.
Data Storage
Dream entries and related information are primarily stored locally on the user’s device.
Some information may be temporarily processed through backend services when AI reflections are requested.
Users can export their dream journal at any time using the app’s export features.
Information We Do Not Collect
DreamLoft does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or account profiles within the app. Most dream journal data remains stored locally on the user’s device.
No Account Required
DreamLoft does not require users to create an account. Dream data is stored locally on the user’s device and can be deleted directly within the app.
Face ID and Device Security
DreamLoft may allow users to protect access to the app using Face ID or other device authentication features.
Biometric information such as Face ID is managed entirely by the device operating system and is never accessed or stored by DreamLoft.
Children’s Privacy
DreamLoft is not intended for children under the age of 13.
